So I saw Brandon Flowers in concert tonight at the Mod Club in
Toronto.
I do like The Killers, but I haven't really taken much time to listen to his new stuff at all other then watching the music video for Crossfire once.
So I went in tonight with an open mind, and I am glad to say that I
fully enjoyed the show.(I also always enjoy going for free, Thanks for the hook up John!!!)
His songs were well written, and better yet they were performed and sung well by both Brandon and his female back-up singers.
He had a great energy to him, and really connected well with the very small audience, which is another reason why I think I really enjoyed the show, I was about eight feet away from the stage and the venue was only three quarters full, so it was very intimate and really all in all a wonderful show!!
